Virtual Central Lock (VCL) is a virtual VPN concentrator used in either hardware or cloud-based customer infrastructure. VCL serves as an IIoT Network Management Platform, primarily offering:
- Management of access groups
- Alarm management and event logging
- VLAN support
- Includes a license for 25 concurrent connections
VPN Access to Groups
You can create access groups and add relevant members (keys, locks, IP addresses, network ranges, or MAC addresses) via drag-and-drop. Members of the same access group can communicate freely, and members can belong to multiple access groups.
Virtual LAN
Central Lock supports Virtual LANs, enabling the addition of workstations or servers from one or more networks connected to the VCL LAN into an access group. You can have different networks defined for each customer, or you may choose to separate your office network from the production network and provide remote access to these networks differently.
Features
With virtual platforms, it is possible to achieve a very high level of redundancy and fault tolerance, where the service takeover time in the event of failure is measured in seconds. Being virtual, it can be deployed in your office network, in leading cloud services like AWS or Azure, or anywhere else you prefer. Supports up to thousands of concurrent VPN connections from keys, locks, or mobile clients. It is at the highest level of security in the industry.
